JH Girls Basketball - Championship Bound

Willoughby Hills, OH - Congratulations to our Junior High Girls Basketball team on making it to the OCSAA State Championship Game on Saturday February, 28th, at Ohio Christian University!

The JH Girls Program makes its first return to the OCSAA Championship Game in the post-covid era of CCA Athletics. The girls defeated Wooster Christian 44-1 and Christian Community 54-11 to advance to the championship dance.

The Junior High Girls are lead by Eighth Graders Rylee Coffey and Anaiah Ali, and Seventh Graders Maeve Owens, Moriah Owens, Lilian Sopenski, Lily Kristoff, and Zoe Reynolds. The girls will face off against the winner of Ohio Valley Christian School & Fayette Christian School.

The Championship Contest will take place at Ohio Christian University at 10:00 am on Saturday, February, 28th. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the game.
